Does the sun doesn't have mercy on your garden all day?
Find out how to keep your garden green
If your garden gets the full sun all day, you should seriously consider an irrigation system, otherwise you'll have a hard time keeping your lawn green and your plants and shrubs healthy.
For an existing garden, an irrigation system can be also introduced without damaging too much the landscape.
If you can’t implement a watering system, go the other way: use species resistant to drought, heat and intense sun light.
Also you can keep the soil from the plants area moist by covering it with bark. Besides keeping the moist in soil by preventing evaporation, it will also slow or stop weeds from growing. Besides its functional state, it is also decorative, as you can buy it in several shades of color.
If you are planning a new lawn, use drought resistant grasses.
Collect rainwater in a water butt by using drainage ditch or drainage pipe buried beneath the soil surface. Lead them to the water butt keeping a slope toward the butt.
Plant trees that will grow to give you shade and cool a little the heat.
